Sovereign Data Protocol

1. "Zero-Server-Side" Diagnostic Commitment
GearVerify strictly adheres to a "Zero-Server-Side" processing model for all hardware diagnostics. When you utilize our CPU Stress, GPU Benchmark, or WebCam tools, the execution logic is delivered to your browser via JavaScript and WebAssembly. The actual processing occurs entirely within your device's local memory and processor. We do not operate backend servers that receive, analyze, or store your real-time hardware telemetry, frame rates, or thermal statistics. Your benchmark results are ephemeral and vanish upon session termination.

2. Secure Communication & Contact Data (Cloudflare Workers KV)
When you voluntarily choose to contact us via our secure form, your name, email address, and message content are transmitted via HTTPS encryption. This data is securely stored using Cloudflare Workers KV, a distributed key-value storage system renowned for its security and low-latency access. We utilize this data solely to respond to your technical inquiries or feedback. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your contact information to outside parties. This data acts as a direct, encrypted uplink between our technical leads and you.

3. Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)
To maintain this laboratory as a free resource, we use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website.

  • Interest-Based Advertising: Vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. This enables them to provide relevant advertisements matching your interests.
  • User Control: You have the right to opt-out of personalized advertising. You may do so by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt-out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for interest-based advertising by visiting youradchoices.com.
  • Cookie Minimization: Outside of these advertising partners and essential session cookies (for theme preference), GearVerify does not plant tracking beacons or persistent fingerprinting scripts.

4. Affiliate Disclosure (Amazon Associates)
GearVerify is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. If you click on a "Laboratory Recommendation" link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This supports our server maintenance and research.

5. Your Rights & Data Sovereignty
Under frameworks like GDPR and CCPA, you retain full rights to your data. Since GearVerify operates on a data-minimization principle, we hold very little personal information. However, for any data stored via our Contact Form (Cloudflare KV), you may request a full export or deletion by contacting us directly at contact@gearverify.com.
